What ages is smART Sketcher AI designed for?

smART Sketcher AI is designed for ages 10 through adult. With AI-powered art tools and photo-to-sketch features, it’s great for older kids, teens, and adults. For children under 10, we recommend the smART Sketcher 2.0.

What is the AI feature and how does it work?

Turn your ideas into art! Simply enter a creative prompt in the smART Sketcher AI app, and AI transforms it into a unique image. The projector then creates a guided drawing experience that’s fun and easy to follow.

Does smART Sketcher AI require a smart device?

Yes — the projector connects to the smART Sketcher AI app on a compatible smartphone or tablet. The app unlocks AI art generation, photo-to-sketch features, and guided drawing activities.

Is smART Sketcher AI easy for beginners to use?

Absolutely! smART Sketcher AI guides kids step-by-step, making drawing approachable and fun — even for first-time artists.

Kids simply follow the projected lines while building confidence, creativity, and fine motor skills.

Is there a recurring cost for the app or AI features?

No subscription is required to use the app. New users receive 20 free AI image credits, plus 3 free daily refill credits. Optional subscription plans are available for additional AI generations.

DESCRIBE IT AND DRAW IT: Tell the free smART Sketcher AI app what you want to draw, by voice or by typing, and the AI creates a clean traceable outline and projects it onto your paper in high resolution. Dinosaurs, a dream treehouse, a portrait of the dog. Anything a child can imagine becomes something they can actually draw by hand.
TURN PHOTOS INTO ART: Use it as an art projector for tracing your own photographs. Send a picture from your phone through the app and it becomes a step-by-step outline projected onto the page, so kids can draw their family, their pet or last summer’s holiday and keep the result.
BUILDS REAL DRAWING SKILL: Tracing trains hand-eye coordination, proportion and confidence, which is how art students learn. Once the image is projected the work happens on paper with a pencil, so it is screen-free time that still ends in something finished.
MADE FOR OLDER KIDS, TEENS AND ADULTS: Ages 10 and up. Unlike drawing projectors built for toddlers, the smART Sketcher AI handles detailed, realistic images, which makes it a creative birthday or holiday gift for tweens, teenagers and adult hobbyists tracing onto paper, canvas, fabric and even cookies.
WHAT IS IN THE BOX: smART Sketcher AI projector, a 30-image inspiration cartridge and USB-C power. The projection area is larger than the smART Sketcher 2.0. Please note this is a new generation product and does not use smART Sketcher 2.0 cartridges.
